6 Inspiring Books for Bloggers + Creatives
1. Big Magic: Creative living beyond fear by elizabeth gilbert | GET YOUR COPY
If you’re experiencing any level of hesitancy to share your creativity with the world, Big Magic is a MUST! This book gently shifted my perspective through eye opening narratives and pieces of wisdom I’ve carried with me since reading it for the first time. You’ll learn how natural it is to be fearful of sharing your work and how to create despite that fear. One of my favorite parts is when Gilbert addresses fear in terms of holding back her own creativity. She says, “You’re [fear] allowed to have a seat, and you’re allowed to have a voice, but you are not allowed to have a vote. You’re not allowed to touch the road maps; you’re not allowed to suggest detours; you’re not allowed to fiddle with the temperature. Dude, you’re not even allowed to touch the radio. But above all else, my dear old familiar friend, you are absolutely forbidden to drive.”
